Anthony Croome B Phil (Hons) MA PGCE LRAD LIDTA
Partner: Following training at the Royal Academy of Dance and The Laban Centre, Anthony worked in Italy for a number of years, teaching, choreographing and performing before returning to Harrogate. He is a tutor and Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance, has written Foundation Degrees and Top Up Degrees in Dance,(validated by UCLAN) and has been involved in the training of professional dancers and dance teachers since 1991. An experienced moderator for GCSE Dance and NSCD's Foundation Course, Anthony brings his breadth of knowledge and experience of the dance industry to all aspects of the school.
Lynne Reucroft-Croome BA(Hons) PGCE LRAD
Partner: Following training at the Royal Academy of Dance and then seven years overseas teaching, performing and choreographing in Holland and Italy, Lynne returned to Harrogate in 1984. She was Chairman of the Yorkshire Regional Advisory Panel for many years, during which time she headed the Yorkshire Youth Dance Theatre under the RAD umbrella. A tutor and Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance since 1989, she was invited to the RAD Board of Trustees in 2008 where she served for 10 years and continues to work on the Education sub committee. Lynne was previously a moderator for GCSE Dance and for the Foundation Course at NSCD. She has tutored Vocational students and aspiring teachers in colleges across the North of England and worked for many years with trainee teachers. She currently tutors on various teaching course modules and CPD courses delivered by the RAD, and has delivered Inset days on Dance for NYCC.
Lynne Reucroft-Croome BA(Hons) PGCE LRAD


Harriet Croome BA(Hons) MA Cert. Ed
Vice Principal . Holder of LAMDA Gold Medal, Harriet is a former member of the National Youth Theatre, She began her teaching career in drama and moved into Expressive Arts, successfully leading the GCSE programme for a number of years along with tutoring on the GCSE Dance programme. Harriet is the Programme Leader for the Extended Diploma Dance programme, where she teaches choreography along with contextual studies and is responsible for the Quality Assurance of the programme.
Rachael Wilkinson AISTD (FDI CDE) RAD RTS
Following her training at MADD and Preston College, Rachael returned to Lynton, where she had been a young student, to be responsible for the ISTD Tap and Modern syllabi. She has extensive experience in performing in stage musicals and is still actively involved in performing. She brings her valuable stage experience to her work with us.


Christos Chandroulidis
Following a rigorous 3 year teacher training programme at the Higher Professional Dance School in Thessaloniki, Greece, Christos performed as a dancer with the State Theatre of Northern Greece and also in Music Halls and the Regency Casino in Thessaloniki. During his time as a performer he also worked as a teacher and choreographer before moving to the UK in 2016. Since being in the UK Christos has taught various dance styles in Leeds, including jazz, ballet and contemporary, along with being involved with workshops for people of different abilities. He now teaches ballet and contemporary dance for Lynton Academy, where he works with students of all ages.
Nel Hales ISTD DDI DDE, UDO Street Dance teachers qualification
Trained and specialised in teaching various styles of dance Nel prides herself on having a love for teaching dance alongside dancing herself. She is an enthusiastic, driven and confident individual who joins our team with a proven track record of experienced dance teaching, having had children pass and excel in many accredited examinations, and achieve numerous street dance titles across the UK. Nel has coached street dance teams who have won 1st and 2nd places (Beginner and Inter sections) at BDO and UK Street Dance competitions, and has worked with Alford Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School's Creativity Day as a Dance Leader and has been involved withStreet Dance workshops in partnership with Lepra. We are delighted to welcome her to the Lynton family.
